Wellington North Farmers Market

8:30 a.m. to noon

Market with farm products, baked good and handcrafted items from producers in the Wellington North area. 

Aberfoyle Farmers Market

Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre - 23 Brock Rd. S., Aberfoyle

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Puslinch’s farmers’ market with locally grown and handmade products.

Elora Farmers’ Market

Bissell Park - 127 East Mill St., Elora

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Outdoor market on the banks of the Grand River with local food and artisan vendors

Minto Farmers’ Market

Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum - 164 William St., Palmerston

9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Locally grown and produced products from the Minto area. 

Pirate Fest

Marden Park - 7368 Wellington Rd. 30, Marden

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Pirate Festival is a yearly event where Marden Park is transformed into a pirate shantytown with live entertainment, food, drink and pirates. Fun for the whole family. Captain’s keg party starts afterwards at 7 p.m.

Food Day Canada BBQ

Grand River Raceway parking lot - 7445 Wellington Rd. 21, Elora

Celebrate Food Day Canada with a free BBQ! Enjoy hot dogs (beef/pork mixed and veggie), condiments and drinks (includes small cartons of milk – white and chocolate, or apple juice).

Poor House Tours

Wellington County Museum and Archives - 0536 Wellington Rd. 18, Aboyne

1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Take a tour of the Poor House, a national historic site built in 1877 as a place of refuge for the poor, homeless and destitute people of Wellington County. No registration required.  

Shakespeare in the Park

Elora Centre for the Arts - 75 Melville St., Elora

2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The Twelfth Night presented by the Elora Community Theatre.

Soundwaves at the Belwood Skol House

Belwood Skol House - 24 North Broadway St., Belwood

3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A celebration of live music and art taking place every Saturday all summer on the grounds of a historic school house under renovation. All proceeds go towards rebuilding the school house.

Aberfoyle Antique Market

57 Brock Rd. S. - Aberfoyle

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Canada’s largest outdoor antique market. Over 100 dealers selling collectibles, folk art, furniture and more. Admission is $5

Elora Flea and Thrift

Geddes Street Market parking lot - 169 Geddes St., Elora

9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This market features local artisans, shopping, community music along with food and drink. Shop for arts and crafts, vintage items, local shops and pop-ups and trunk sales.

Drop-in roller skating at the Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre 

Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre - 23 Brock Rd. S., Aberfoyle

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out the drop-in roller skating program at the Optimist Recreation Centre Rink in Puslinch for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Helmets must be worn by individuals 15 years of age and younger. Please note hockey sticks, pucks and/or balls are not permitted.

Grand River Raceway - 7445 Wellington Rd. 21, Elora

12:30 p.m.

Held annually on the civic holiday Monday, Industry Day is highlighted by a special afternoon race card. Featured will be the Battle of Waterloo and Battle of the Belles.
