A portion of Highway 7/Main Street in Rockwood will be closed for road repair and watermain replacement in August.
The Township of Guelph/Eramosa is advising Main Street South at Frederick Street to Harris Street will be closed for approximately five weeks starting Aug. 3.
During this closure, only local traffic will be permitted.
No through traffic will be permitted and instead traffic will detour from Highway 7 to the Eramosa/Milton Townline to Wellington Road 44.
A GO Transit stop south of Harris Street will not be serviced.
This section of Main Street was the site of a major watermain break last December.
