NEWS RELEASE
ECLECTIC VINYL ORCHESTRA
************************
On Saturday, Nov. 9, Eclectic Vinyl Orchestra (EVO) will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with a Fall Fling at the Elora Legion, 110 Metcalfe St.
Eclectic Vinyl Orchestra is a dance-hall band from Guelph playing 1930s swing, 1940s rockabilly, 1950s rhythm & blues, and 1960s rock 'n roll. Since 2015, this four-piece orchestra has been stirring crowds of all ages up with their upright bass, saxophones, tight harmonies, polished spats, and crisp button-downs.
These guys play Etta James, Ray Charles, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley, and Laverne Barker. Their styles are klezmer and swing, New York ritz, Saturday night gospel, Philadelphia soul, Chicago southside, and St. Louis blues. They’ve also got a few other gems up their sleeves.
Join EVO on the dance floor Saturday in Elora to help mark this important anniversary. Doors open at 7:30 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $20, available at ticketscene.ca.
