Ralf Mesenbrink has been acclaimed as the chair of the Upper Grand District School.
The board had its inaugural meeting on Tuesday and along with Mesenbrink, trustee Katherine Hauser was acclaimed as vice-chair. This is Mesenbrink’s third time serving as chair and Hauser’s third term serving as vice-chair.
“I’d like to thank my trustee colleagues for their support and confidence in both my leadership and in our ability to bring our voices together and make the best decisions for the system," said Mesenbrink, in a press release.
He put an emphasis on continuing to centre students through learning and well-being.
