**********************
Marshall Dane will appear with a full band and ASL interpreter at the Grand Theatre in Fergus on Nov. 3.

Show starts at 2 p.m. and tickets are $38.

Marshall Dane has been writing fine songs for some years. In an earlier music career he was known in the country music world. He moved away from the genre-specific  category to one way-more inclusive – the “Americana” world where he’s found a place he calls “home”. Around the same time Marshall was driven by a love for the Deaf community. Staying true to this love, Marshall has been learning the ASL language and regularly brings along his friend, Vera Goudie, to add ASL interpretation.

“This song was written because of my bond with, and love for the Deaf community – a community who has provided blessings on my heart since I started learning ASL in 2017. ‘No Need To Speak’ expresses to people that they are heard through our hearts and through eyes that see who they are. And that even in the hearing world, oftentimes there is no need to speak because what needs to be said can be seen, and more importantly, felt”. - Marshall Dane
