The Town of Minto is thrilled to announce the debut of "Minto’s Magical Holiday Towns," a festive experience inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the holiday
season.
This project will connect vibrant holiday events, a new holiday light trail in Palmerston, special shopping opportunities & promotions, unique photo ops across Harriston, Clifford, and Palmerston, and contests totaling over $1800 in prizes. From November 15 to December 15th, 2024, visitors can enjoy Minto’s downtown areas transformed into enchanting winter wonderlands.
Marketing & Community Development Coordinator, Erin Raftis, shares, “This season is about connecting our communities and welcoming visitors to share in the magic of Minto’s towns.”
“Ask any resident or volunteer in Minto and they will tell you the holidays are a busy time in our community. We hope that by promoting ‘Minto’s Magical Holiday Towns’ we will be able to connect our existing events & activities and bring even more people to visit, shop, explore, and celebrate Harriston, Palmerston, and Clifford this holiday season.”
Signature events will include the annual Candy Canes & Cocktails event on November 13th, Light up the Park on November 15th, Kris Kringle Market on November 21st, Hometown Christmas on November 23rd, Christmas in the Street on November 30th.
Participants can learn more about local contests, including various business passport contest (featuring special sales for this campaign only!) and shop and win contests, as well as a photo contest. Everyone is also encouraged to check out various community events and activities, such as Silent Auctions, Theatrical Performances, Craft Nights, and more.
