NEWS RELEASE
TOWN OF ERIN
************************
The Town of Erin is excited to announce an interactive public open house, “Monopoly Night,” on Oct. 9 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Erin Legion.

This engaging event will allow residents to play a fun, version of Monopoly while providing valuable input on community priorities as part of the Town's community strategic planning process.

During Monopoly Night, attendees will have the opportunity to “invest” in community projects and initiatives using play money, simulating the resource allocation process for the Town.

This format encourages residents to express their views on where they believe the Town should focus its resources for the coming years, including areas such as infrastructure, recreation, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

“Monopoly Night is a chance for our community to come together, have fun, and make their voices heard,” said Michael Dehn. Mayor of Erin. “We want to ensure that our corporate strategic plan reflects the values and priorities of our residents. Your input is essential to shaping the future of our Town.”

Prior to the event, residents can review the draft Community Strategic Plan documents and complete a quick survey on the Town’s new public engagement website, Erin Engaged, that will assist Council and Staff in creating an inclusive Community Strategic Plan.
