The Elora Singers and the Vancouver Chamber Choir join together for an extraordinary afternoon of choral masterpieces. Audiences will come to experience two Juno-nominated choirs - The Elora Singers led by Artistic Director Mark Vuorinen and the Vancouver Chamber Choir with Artistic Director Kari Turunen - performing a special program of gorgeous choral music in the splendour of Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph.
The Elora Singers, under the direction of Mark Vuorinen, has established an international reputation as one of Canada’s finest professional choirs. The Grammy - and JUNO - nominated ensemble is renowned for its diverse styles and recognized internationally for its rich, warm sound and clarity of texture.
The Vancouver Chamber Choir is Canada’s longest running professional choir, with Kari Turunen joining as Artistic Director in 2019. An amazing success story, the Vancouver Chamber Choir ranks among North America’s best professional choruses and has been honoured with the Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence by Chorus America.
