Elora Sculpture Project returns for its 12th season

All art pieces will be up in public spaces starting Sunday until Oct. 15

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Elora and Fergus will feel a little more artsy as public sculptures will get erected throughout both towns this week.

The Elora Sculpture Project’s 2022 edition of its outdoor exhibition will open on Sunday and run until Oct. 15.

A press release stated this is the 12th season of this event and the project has become a fixture in the community showcasing new sculptures each year.

There are a total of 18 sites with 13 in Elora and five in Fergus. The release said the featured sculptures have been selected by a jury from entries submitted by artists throughout Ontario and British Columbia.

Most sculptures are available for purchase with details found on a plaque at each site and on maps that will be available at the tourism office and local businesses.
