ARTHUR – A developer is seeking the county’s approval to finish an almost fully built subdivision in Arthur.

As part of an official plan amendment application filed with the County of Wellington, documents show a home builder is looking to finish off the East Ridge Landing subdivision by adding 18 single homes, 12 semi-detached units and 25 townhomes in five blocks.

The East Ridge Landing subdivision is by Pinestone Homes and when completed will have 217 units in total and a large park. The documents note this is the final phase of development for the subdivision.

In addition to the residential component, this phase will also see extensions of Schmidt Drive and Walsh Street to the southerly adjacent property to allow connectivity for future development.

A zoning bylaw amendment has also been filed with the Township of Wellington North and a date for the statutory public meeting has not been announced.
