COUNTY OF WELLINGTON

The County of Wellington is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Multicultural Festival on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 11 a.m – 5 p.m at the Wellington County Museum and Archives. Planning for the event is already underway, and the County officially opened their Call for Exhibitors, Performers, and Vendors on Jan. 20 at www.wellington.ca/multiculturalfestival.
The County is seeking diverse performers, exhibitors, food trucks, and cultural vendors to participate in this year’s event and showcase some of the many cultures that make up Wellington County. The deadline to apply to participate is March 20, 2025.
New to the Multicultural Festival this year is an Ethnocultural Marketplace, an addition designed to highlight and celebrate the rich cultural diversity found in Wellington County’s communities. The marketplace will provide an opportunity for vendors to showcase and sell cultural goods and will offer event attendees a chance to connect with global traditions through an assortment of products and crafts.
“The Multicultural Festival is an inspiring testament to the variety of cultures that make up our communities”, commented Anuradha Dam, Economic Development Officer at the County of Wellington. “This year, we are especially excited about the Ethnocultural Marketplace, where vendors will be able to share their heritage in meaningful and engaging ways.”
