FERGUS SCOTTISH FESTIVAL

The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games is never short of exciting announcements. With just a week to go until the festival opens, the festival is incredibly pleased to announce that Canadian actor Charles Vandervaart will be a second featured guest for 2023. A familiar face to many and gaining popularity internationally, Vandervaart will be appearing in addition to Scottish actor and friend Richard Rankin. Vandervaart, born in Toronto, is the most local featured guest the festival has hosted in recent years and is taking a break from acting in Scotland to be on the festival grounds Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 11 - 13, 2023.
The festival team is presenting an amazing combination of unique opportunities to meet Vandervaart including a VIP autograph/photo session, brunch, and several free panel discussions where he will join Rankin on stage answering questions from the audience. In addition to these ticketed events, he will also be participating in activities through the festival grounds. Tickets for scheduled featured guest events with Charles Vandervaart will go on sale Friday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m.
