Maria has lived in Guelph since 1987. She lives with her husband, Trevor, and three children.
Maria graduated from McMaster University in 1986 with an Honours B.Sc. in Biochemistry. In 1987 she attended the University of Guelph where she completed a second B.Sc. in Nutritional Sciences and in 1991 she completed her M.Sc in the same field. She married and a year later became a mother to the first of her three children. She made the hard decision to walk away from her field and decided to stay at home and raise her three beautiful children herself. As the children grew up and became more independent, Maria decided that it was time to return to the workforce and have always had an interest in homes she decided to go into real estate. She became licensed in 2009 and has been with Coldwell Banker Neumann Real Estate ever since.
Moving can be a very difficult time and Maria can easily understand that since she moved often during her young life. She has lived on three different continents (Africa, Europe, and North America) and countless cities. As a result, she can relate to the stress and frustration of moving whether that is across the city, country, or coming from another country.
