WELLINGTON-HALTON HILLS – Two debate dates have been set in southern Wellington County for the upcoming provincial election.
The Wellington Federation of Agriculture (WFA) and the Optimist Club of Puslinch will be hosting debates between candidates for the Wellington-Halton Hills riding, which includes the municipalities of Centre Wellington, Guelph/Eramosa, Puslinch, Erin and Halton Hills.
The WFA debate will be virtually held on Zoom from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Feb. 18. Those looking to participate can get the Zoom link by emailing [email protected] or it can be watched on the WFA’s Facebook page.
The debate in Puslinch will be in-person at the Puslinch Community Centre in Aberfoyle from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Feb. 20.
A planned all-candidates debate hosted by the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce shifted to a meet-and-greet event on Feb. 19 at The Club at North Halton after Progressive Conservative candidate Joseph Racinsky declined the invitation.
